I feel honoured and grateful to have the opportunity to address all professionals from the Mining Industry, specifically from the area of Geological Sciences, and to extend our invitation to participate in the I International Seminar on Geology for the Mining Industry, "GEOMIN", to be organised in Antofagasta, Chile, from June 10 to 12, 2009. As is well known, Chile is one of the main mining countries in the world, being one of the main players in the global Copper Industry.
